I am a very inexperienced crocheter. I am self taught, after I retired, had no hobbies, none, so between Wal-Mart and KZbin, I have learned. I am not fast but I do love it. I have never even tried granny squares for anything, I always found them intimidating so I just passed them by. I finally bit the bullet and am working on my first, a rectangle lap blanket. I am 65 now and might be mature enough to finally understand this really easy pattern, so there it is.

Hi Brenda. It was Billie who said she loves the circles in a square granny, she said that in her last video when she was showing us all she got in the mail. She does a phenomenal job with all those grannies, just matching and the layout alone is amazing… then all the time to stitch into a blanket. You, make a tremendous amount of blankets for Boggy Creek and I am sure the Brigade has thanked you tremendously for that. BUT I want to as well, you are such a wonderful person taking all the time to do them and not to mention the expense of the yarn. So THANK YOU BRENDA, you’re an Angel!!! I enjoy your videos and have for some time now. Isn’t it so cool to realize just how many granny squares are possible to be made, seems like an endless possibility of blankets can be made. That scrap blanket is so very pretty! I love the way it turned out!! And I use a lot of Dollar Tree yarn. Mama Swift's afghan is also pretty and I love that granny square box. I love the way they are all in a nice compact little box.
