It is nice to have an alternative way to do this. I especially like how you anchor each stitch where as they usually aren't on the knitting or crochet hook. I also really like the single or half double between rows. My problem is that I can't keep the loops even like I do when I used my very, very thick P or Q crochet hook to loop them over but it is probably my skill level and that I used too thick of yarn (cake type yarn). You did an excellent job in explaining and demonstrating. Thank you.

Just gorgeous! I've seen this in books, but it loosed so difficult I just passed over it for easy later when I'm more experienced. Truly beautiful, and the very first round you did, working the loops in 5's reminds me of a peacock feather, for some reason! Totally awesome and I'm going to try a scarf with it, thanks SO MUCH for sharing your wonderful talents with us!

Hi Oana, I was so happy to hear back from you, I promise to send you the pic's as soon as I can get 1 of my granddaughters to show me how. I love this stitch. I just ordered a 50/25mm knitting needled for a pattern I want to make. now after seeing this I shouldn't have gotten it. This stitch can be done without that big thing and it feels strange in my hand too and I worked at it for awhile to try to get the feel of it. Now Oana, I made the , well started making the Barkus shawl and ran out of that yarn, but I am confused because I see another shawl named the same thing and I recall seeing the beginning of the other shawl were you did the 1st 4 then I didn't see that video until this morning were you finished it. Help me with that and tell were I can find it. I want to make it for all 4 seasons, it is beautiful, I love it.
