Nice cute video ^^ and I have a question, so I tried making this cat beanie but it keeps getting bigger and bigger with each row and it s freaking me out lol, how can I fix that please ? :,(
@SkySolStar9 ай бұрын
Ayeeee thank you and you might be doing an extra double crochet at the end of the row which is causing it to increase. So try the hat again, but this time count the double crochet as you go for each row just to make sure you have the same number of stitches every time! I know it’s tedious, but this will also help you see the problem!!

If I only have a 3.5 and 8mm crochet is this problematic ? 😭
@LittleLivCrochets4 ай бұрын
The size of your final product will most likely be different, but you can adjust how many stitches and more to fit more properly. With an 8mm hook, your stitches will also be much bigger and have more open gaps between them.

I noticed the stitches that connect when you switch colours are slanting and not straight,I was wondering if there’s a way to avoid that
@SkySolStar7 ай бұрын

how do you avoid the carrying of the other colored yarn from the previous row to show when you flip up the rim?
@SkySolStarАй бұрын
The only way to avoid this is to add new yarn when you need to color change instead of carrying the yarn that’s already attached, BUT this does leave more work for you to do because you’ll have to weave in more ends 🙇♀️

@chillingonnetflix154423 күн бұрын
Okay so how do I know how much to chain when the beanie is for someone else who ordered it ?
@SkySolStar23 күн бұрын
@@chillingonnetflix1544 yeahhh this is the trickiest part ☹️ If possible maybe you could ask them to measure their head if they have a measuring tape, but I know that’s not always practical 😭 BUT the average measurement of an adult’s head is 21 inches, so just chain until you have 21 inches. But even then it may differ because everyone has different tension. But for myself my head is 22 inches and I’ll usually chain 63-66.
