Yes! You can add base stitches and continue using the pattern. Just make sure the stitches per row match how many stitches you start with.

I’m using a 4ply milk cotton yarn what hook size should I use? This is going to be my first crochet project because its so cute ❤

I suggest you use the recommended hook size if the info is available on your yarn's packaging :) If not, I usually use 3 - 4mm for 4ply milk cotton

I’m really confused lol. How many chains did you do at the beginning of the project? It doesn’t look like 26. I tried 26 on my bag and it looks a little too small… help please 😂😂

Hi Myah, I did 26 chains! There might be differences in size depending on your yarn weight. If you feel 26 chains is too small for your bag, you can just add more initial chains and follow the same pattern :)

I just finished making the bag and it is so cute. For the first row of the pouch/bag i think there is supposed to be 54 for the row count. If you do 24 sc, then 3 then 24, then 3 it would be 54. How long is the strap that you did?
