Good morning Spring. Question when you do the cross double stitch what benefit do you have of doing the 2nd DC from the back to the front? I've always done the 2nd DC in the same direction grabbing the two loops from the front to the back. Have I been doing it wrong all this time? I'm a lefty so things always look a little warped to me when looking at a right-handed crocheter which is how I learned to crochet from my aunts. Fortunately for me a left-handed aunt and friend taught me how to knit so my brain didn't have quite the same adjustment to make. My KZbin friends laugh at me because I always see the yarn unders and overs and they don't see the same things as me. Call me weird. Anyway thanks for the tutorial and have a blessed day. Hugs.😊

Hi Ivette, there are actually two ways to do it and depends on which way depends on which direction the front side of your work will lean so the way that I did it. You have a front facing left leaning double crochet if I was to do it to the back of the work, you would have a front facing right leaning double crochet so it’s not wrong. It’s just the pattern is designed is the look that you get One Direction in front and the next one to the back of the work and you would get these zigzag these in the pattern, I will try to remember and show you what I’m talking about in this coming podcast. I hope that this makes sense and if not, I will do my best to explain it one way or another so that way you can understand what I’m talking about. Hugs 🤗
