@@kamibrown82 ​​⁠ i used an 8mm hook and 5 strands of 4ply cotton and got the same measurements. my initial chain measured 9in but my tighter stitches came out to be the same measurements throughout the rest. hope that helps (i am now making one with a 23 beginning chain so that it will fit my essentials hopefully)

This is 9 strands with 7mm, it’s definitely the tightest it can get. If it was 2 strands with 7mm, ofcourse.
