Hello everyone, thank you for your tutorial. Here some time marks for me

A few notes for this pattern 1. You can finish the 102 ribbing within the time it takes you to watch Mean Girls and 2 episodes of Young Royals. 2. I ended up making the back flat across. It worked great. 3. I did mine in the pattern of Phoebe Bridgers Punisher album. You can do many patterns on this top. :)))

hey i just want to ask how did you make the back part flat like witch part did you skip ahead to skip the back part and was it difficult after that following the tutorial? if that makes any sense
@CoutureCr0chet
@CoutureCr0chet Жыл бұрын
@@ursula2745It wasn’t difficult at all! I did front part following the tutorial first. Then I attached my yarn to the bottom of one of the front triangles and sc across the back for 4-5 rows. It also depends on how high/low you want the back. Before you make the straps, try it on to make sure you like the length. You might have to make the straps a little longer but that should be pretty easy :)

Ladies, she's using a "Small hook 3.5mm" for the ribbing. And jumping to a 5.0mm hook for the bodice. Your crop top is going to flar or form a V hence the name. V is for the neckline also....but its going to grow wider. It's the same concept as when you're making a hat with the band the hat is wider than the band. 💡🙃💙

Love it! Took me a little less than two weeks. I mostly worked in it while riding the bus to work and other traveling. I did one strap how she did it in the video and I did the other by kind of just attaching it and I like mine better because it goes straight up, her pattern kind of guides the strap outwards which makes it feel like it’s falling off my shoulder. Otherwise I loved making this and I live the result! Thanks for the tutorial!

@@koolykoalaroblox3636 There are somethings that just because they look pretty doesn’t mean I’m gonna wanna wear it. It has nothing to do with my measurements and everything to do with the design of the piece and how it wears. Yes measurements do play a role in the fit of a garment. However, it’s irrelevant to what I was saying in my comment. If I’m making the piece and putting hours of work only to put it on and not like it on as a garment that’s a huge waste of my time and seeing it worn in the video helps me a lot in determining whether I want to actually do a project or not.

Heyy so in the blog it says at the beginning S( M L Xl) later on when she gives the instructions she puts fr example "Repeat row 2 until you reach row 102 (110, 118, 126)." 102 being small, 110 medium, 118 large, 126 xl " Repeat round 2 until you have completed round 16(18, 20, 22). " 16 being Small, 18 medium, 20 large, 22 xl , and so on for the rest of the instructions. Hope it helped

Cute, But.. Some Things I would want to Change.. the part where you begin to make the cups and straps, because your spliting the waste and working back and fourth it creates a slightly different pattern.. it would be good to start this way instead of going around in a circle after connecting the 102 rows.. i ended up using a 3.5 needle with about 86 i think.. rows.. but when i got to the 2nd part where you connect and build up the sides they say your suppose to make another 102.. for me having 86 i ended up with for whatever reason 126 after.. perhaps because i used the larger needle and im not a size small.. either way.. also the straps.. i ended on each strap with 6 left.. so when i finished all 4.. i went back and extended the straps several rows.. i wish i could of made the mid section much bigger.. and alternated instead of went just straight around so that the patter wouldn't of looked different when i got to the straps and so the mid section covers my stomach better.. another great design idea would be to use the ribbing to make it cover your entire waste.. spending the majority of your time on that part versus the straps.. i think it would look amazing.. same concept but the ribbing would be much bigger. just a suggestion.. for fall alterations..

maybe that's because you add or remove stitches, to improve that you should use a stich marker, for example... in every first and last stitch you do use a stitch marker(: I hope it helps...

I had the same oohh, but eventually I found some tips to reduce this (not sure if they're correct but they helped me a lot). Firstly, count stiches (every time), better do it in two or three stiches before finishing row. Also you can ignore the last stich, in this case you won't really change anything, because it will still look fine, but at least your top won't extend with every row..

Hello, I really like your top and the way you are making it. I have a question though, the yarn I have is called Drops Cotton Safran which take 3 mm recommended hook size, While the one you are using uses 4 mm size recommended. Can you advise me on the hook sizes I need to use for this type of yarn, also, I think I may have to use the measurements for the medium to make the small size, right? Thank you sooo much for your beautiful videos :)
