My back hurts from cleaning my craftroom. Which is also my bedroom! Every joint in my body hurts!!! Plus a few other places. I just want to sit down and crochet!!!!!! But you know you can’t do anything if your room is a hot mess!!!! I’m 74 years old and I can’t get happy if I can’t crochet . So once in a while I have to stop and organize. But then it makes me happy again when it’s clean and I can resume crocheting .

Hey ❤My 27 yo mom made me a Bloody-Finger-in-the-Box. She let me take it to school, 3rd grade. Kids loved it. One super tall skinny girl stole it out of my desk and she tripped and fell outside while she ran away laughing. I was the one that got in trouble. That was in 1973. Ugh. I thought that she needed to be punished too. In a way she was 🥴 🩸🩹Bloody knees

Kayla, your blanket is really beautiful. The colors look to good together and the sequence you have them in really plays well. You cracked me up with the stories about what happened to your fingers. You wouldn't believe the stories I would tell people when they ask why I'm so short. For example, I was 4'6" until my big brother put me in the dryer. I came out 3'2". Hope that gave you a chuckle. I have a BFF and she is 2 months and 2 days old and I never let her forget it. We were in an accident together and taken to hospital in different ambulances with me arriving first then in she comes in and the nurses said “did we have another woman same age”. I called out down the hall, “ she’s 2 mouths and 2 days older”, She heard that and it let her know I was okay.

Kayla, I have 4 questions........ Question 1........... QQ; Of all the crocheting you've done, specifically crocheting blankets, do you have a favorite blanket that you have made? Question2......... QQ: And is it a favorite because of the colors you used or the stitches???¿ I know you said you want to work toward a corner to corner blanket (me too) but I'm more interested in the blankets you have accomplished. Question 3; QQ: Another question, Are there certain crocheters that you follow on YTube¿??%or anywhere that you follow for patterns etc.??¿¿ Question 4;............ People you get ideas from.?¿? I love your channel and I've watched you enough that I feel like you are my family. I'm the somebody that said to you that I want to be your neighbor. Of course, currently I live in Michigan. But I've spent time in Louisiana and I really loved it there. Some have a lot in common. I have a Manx Cat. I crochet all the time. I have CHRONIC SHINGLES. That means, for the last 30 years of my life I get Shingles ALL THE TIME. In the beginning it was every few months that I'd break out with them, and sometimes they are all over my right side of my body. Other times they are just here and there. THEY ARE VERY PAINFUL NO MATTER HOW MANY OR WHERE THEY ARE. TERRIBLE. I have to take a pill in the am and in the pm. for 7 days. Then, even if they've not gone away, I stop the medicine for a week. Then if after that next week I still have them I start the 7 days of pills at the am and pm. The medicine has changed over the years but the medicine is very strong and it changes my days and routines. I'll sleep more or less and I usually stay away from going out and/or wearing clothes. Nightgowns are my clothes. And you can't go many places in those.

I had electric scissors when I was a lot younger. My aunt gave me a pair because I was having joint pain. I loved them. I did think about mentioning them to you but forgot. Glad someone else did. I saw a pair in the thrift store one day. But don’t sew anymore so didn’t. 🙏 continue for all your health issues. My best to Big Daddy. Ya’ll take care.

I live in Minnesota and it's going to be freezing this weekend. So or stay in home doing nothing. And I do drink a lot of Coke. My doctor asked me to drink more water. Have a lot of constipation all the time. So I am drinking water and marilychex. Thanks for sharing God bless, take care.❤

I'm really enjoying these videos where you chat and answer questions Kayla, it just feels like sitting with a friend and putting the world to rights😊 When you were talking about naming your pets and how you like to give your Chihuahua's Mexican names it reminded me of how my hubby and I choose our pet names. We're Scottish and over the years we have tried to pick Scottish/ Gaelic names. We had 4 x dogs all at the same time consisting of 2 x Old English Sheepdogs, a Westie and a Scottie so we called them Cruachan, Ruairidh, Hamish and Angus. Later we got a Bearded Collie we called Isla and another Old English Sheepdog who we called Keira. After that we haven't specifically given Scottish names but like you we like people names so we got a Bichon Frise we called Becky and we now have a puppy Bichon Frise Bolognese we call Rosie. Isla is our old lady, she will be 17 years old in May all being well. Thanks for keeping me company whilst I crochet, I thoroughly enjoy listening to your stories. I really hope your finger improves and that you never have to lose anymore fingers. Much love ❤

I hear ya Kayla. Same here. Most of my friends have passed on, some have either moved a long distance away or their interests have changed. Now I have no vehicle. I'm more disabled than I've ever been. I think that is why we all want to get to know you better and get more in contact with you, because a lot of us were hoping to find a new friend for 2 on these videos too. So I really do understand. I'm disabled enough now, I can't just jump up and say let's go here or let's go there because I'm a burden often to do activities with. ❤❤❤

Where we live , we always have cows in the middle of the road. My dad hit a cow one day when him and my daughter were going fishing. During christmas time, I had an elk jump out in the middle of the road, and i hit it. That was the scariest thing in the world. My daughters were with me. We have a little car like you. It makes it worse during the winter. We get a lot of snow. We just had a storm we had about six inches of snow. I thought the Groundhog had just seen his shadow about a few days. Where is spring?

That was so fun! Love these visits with you! On Saturday morning, my son Ian and grandson Cole, take me with them for a Waffle House breakfast. Last week my daughter came along. It was so wonderful being together. Since my husband John's death, I have not been socializing much at all. Family and good food is always a great combination. I finally finished the baby C2C blanket. The boarder was my own creation. I couldn't find a pattern I could see well enough to use. I will post a picture tomorrow sometime. I like soda but rather drink ginger ale. I love Pepsi but only drink 1 or 2 a month because it has more sugar then the others. I drink allot of ice tea. I love the colors of your blanket. 😂 I had a pain stimulater trial done on Tues and it seems to be helping. So glad it's helping you. 😊

I'm always joking with my Dr. I suffer with joint pain and get injections so I asked him to put me on a skeleton transplant list. Thanks to you, I finally put a name to one of my conditions, Raynaud's so I asked what would help. He told me warmer weather, so I asked for a prescription. We just laughed. He tells me Im not wright, I replied but I'm not wrong. Laughter is the best medicine, I love making people laugh. I was laughing at your pranks. 😂😂😂 Every time one of my friends went to eat, I would secretly tell the waitress it was his birthday. They would sing Happy Birthday to him. One time they asked how old he was. He replied "I'll be 32 on my birthday" It became a running joke between us. Thanks for the laughs, I guessed the kid with the eye patch was a pirate. Your pranks sound funny. We didn't pull them on each other at home but a coworker and I did on one another. It livened things up at work. He put a bullhorn in my desk drawer and left it open. I slammed the drawer shut without looking and yep it went off loud. I got him back by tying cans to his tailpipe. There were a few more pranks we did to one another. Lolol. I have a dentist appointment at 9am on Valentines Day. Plus, Im diabetic and dont have a boyfriend or partner or kids so, Valentines Day doesnt have any special significance to me. 💟 I did that same 'finger in a box' trick!!!! It was fun to scare kids with it but I even did it to grown ups. I did it to 1 older woman in our neighborhood and she called my mom and told her that I nearly gave her a heart attack. Needless to say, I never did it again and boy I got a whooping-DOH!!😢

I was the youngest of 6 kids and the only girl, so I was usually the one that got scared in the 'last person to bed' joke. My youngest brother was 7 yrs older than me. When I was about 6-7 yrs old, I was on my way to the bathroom. My youngest brother jumped out of the dark den while making monster roars. Well, I wet my pants, he scared me so bad and I screamed. He was about 14-15 yrs old and he got grounded for a month and it was the last time that 'game' was played at our house!😮
