You started with a ch of 21. Does the beginning ch determine the finished size of the blanket? I want to make a lap blanket that is approximately 33 x42", so how many chains do I begin with? I made one a few weeks ago, before seeing this video and it was square. I worked triple crochets along both sides and double on the ends.
