Hi I am following this tutorial right now and I don't mind the music at all. I'm always just so grateful for anyone taking the time to share a pattern and for putting it on a video. I use a lot of KZbin tutorials - it's mostly how I learned to crochet. One of the things I find most helpful is a time check for certain parts of the video in the comments. So for people stopping video and then returning to it they can just fast forward to the time at the end of ribbing say ....does that make sense? Also I love how you fast forward over the bits that aren't important to see all the way along a row. I could have done with a close up of the exact place to put the hook into in a couple of bits (like into the area next to the chain 1) as I did add a couple of stitches by getting that wrong. Only mentioning these points because you said you like feedback and it helped you. I'm going to look out for any more tutorials as your voice is so pleasant to listen to - don't be tempted to drown it out with background music - you don't really need it.Have you a written version of this please and thanks again.

@TheGreenMarbleDesigns4 жыл бұрын
I would like to say it would be fine but the thinner the yarn and hook size, the smaller the design will be. You could increase stitch count, but that might be a headache. So I really do suggest a worsted weight with a 5mm. I'm sorry. The only other thing I could suggest is that you could keep the stitches really loose. I hope this helps.

I may be absolutely bonkers! I’ve done and redone the rows after the thumb a 100 times! I’m very confused with the two stitches in every second stitch…I get the 26 count, but the 31 and 40 have me ready for a break down! What am I doing wrong? I’m not giving up! Thank you 🙏
@TheGreenMarbleDesigns3 жыл бұрын
No don't worry. I understand the confusion. After slip stitching to join the thumb you're doing 3 rounds of increase to get to 40 from 26. For the 1st round, your putting 2 stitches into every 2nd stitches for the 1st 10 stitches only. So stitches 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 will have 2 stitches, and the rest of the stitches of the round will be 1 stitch. This is all the same for the next round. Then for the 3rd round stitches 2, 4, 6 and 8 will have 2 stitches, the rest will have 1. Then there should be 40 stitches. I hope this helps! 💚

Hello There! I just came across this awesome tutorial and although I consider myself a beginner at crocheting, I am going to tackle this project because I’ve been wanting gloves like these for a long time and I find these to be very beautiful. I just need a little clarification on your instructions please. I have completed the completed 26 rows to close off the wrist and am now crocheting 26 single crochet stitches around the wrist and have completed that section as well, I slipped stitched and chained 1 and I turned my work to start the second row of 26 single crochet stitches around the wrist row a second time… which I have done and have completed the second row of single crochet stitches around the wrist. NOW… here is where I am a little confused. You stated that we have to continue on to do 12 more rows. So does this mean we will continue on to do 12 more rows of single crochet stitches to complete a total of 14 rows? My mind is counting the first two single crochet rows you showed us to do at the beginning of the video…then you state continue on to do 12 more rows, so would mean 12 + the 2 single crochet rows you did that we followed you at the beginning of the video that would equal 14 rows? Or, is it just 12 single crochet rows altogether to include the first two rows you did at the beginning of the video? I would appreciate the clarification on this but for now I’m going to attempt to make this glove as I am understand the direction.

I actually have a quick question for you when you do the fingers do you have a particular way that you stop the Gap from happening I mean I have my own way of doing it I just took a concept from another tutorial I learned how to make full gloves with and I intertwined it with your tutorial on the fingers with gloves just because I noticed that I was getting a gap in between the fingers I might not have been stitching is tight as I could when going around the finger like making the first initial r o so maybe that was part of the issue but when I realized that happened I just started incorporating another pattern with your pattern I hope I hope it doesn't sound like bad it's not it's a good thing like that's how I kind of make my own patterns as I take different patterns incorporate other themes from patterns I learn from somebody else and make them my own but yeah I noticed that I was getting a gap between the first finger in the middle finger and I was like man how did I stop that from happening last time and I've made full gloves before so I just Incorporated that tutorial with yours but I was wondering how you do it
@TheGreenMarbleDesigns4 жыл бұрын
It's a medium weight worsted and I've used a 5mm hook. There is a very slight gap between the fingers but it's never been an issue for me and I've been wearing mine for a couple of years. Even if you spread your fingers you can't see the gap and the cold never gets in because of the weight of the yarn. However, if you're using a thin worsted this could be what is creating a larger gap, especially if your keeping the stitches loose. If you wanted to close that gap you could sew it together.

The music is dark and dreary and loud. Would be so much nicer with pleasant music slightly in the background

Music is a little to loud for the softness of your voice.

Can you remove the music from this video? If no, can you make this same video again without music? I like the tutorial but not the music, sorry.

Please make your videos with English subtitles because I can't understand your language easily (but your voice is sweet) because I'm an Indian. But I've understood a bit So now I'm going to make this one.🤩

Hello! Of course I will look at putting subtitles this evening when I get home from work. I'm from Australia 😊 Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoy the gloves! ❤

Wow - that's unusual as this lovely lady has no accent at all - just a very nice voice and way of talking.

I absolutely love this. Made this too. And I'm very happy with this method But the music was. Not what someone would want. It was disturbing and kinda annoying. Love ur videos. Please try to change the music.

love the pattern but the music is so anoying have to put the volume up to hear your voice and the music gets louder too . too bad cause your vedeo is really nice but without the music would be better

Just wondering if you have the stitch count/pattern for kids size??
@TheGreenMarbleDesigns5 жыл бұрын
I think measuring the cuff around the wrist would be best. I don't have a stitch count for a kids size. But the good thing is these are so quick to make you can definitely play around with the size. Just so long as you can divide the count before the fingers by 4. I'm sorry. I hope this helps.
@megancalvert71355 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Ill try that and see how it turns out.

There is a feature on youtube where you can slow down the speed of the video. Hope this helps!
