Hello, I saw your videos on line and think it is very beautiful. I have attempted to start three times but each time by row 8 or so the doily does not sit flat. Can you share the gauge of thread used and the needle size? Many thanks SF

Guten Tag, mir gefallen ihre Videos und ich Häkel vieles nach. Leider haben wir in Deutschland das Problem, das wir die Nadelstärke mit der sie arbeiten (2,7mm) hier nicht finden. Bei uns findet man nur 2,75mm. Hätten Sie einen Tipp wo ich diese Nadelstärke her bekommen kann (2,7mm)? Mit freundlichen Grüßen 😊

after starting again because it like ruffled. i am on row 8 and it is doing same thing even though i started with larger needle at round 4 i switched to smaller needle, i even made sure to not make stitches tight as i know i have problem with that, what it does is acts like it has too many panels if i fold one over it lays perfectly flat, it has 9 panels but lays with a ruffle, i am hopeless, this is first round project

This is why i cantbread patterns... instead of saying "2dc in same st, 8dc, 2dc same st & chain 3" it says "2dc increase by 1 more st"... that is just the craziest wording to me.. I wish there was more interaction & communication on these so i could actually have a conversation with someone about it. Maybe someone could explain it to me in a way tgat would make sense to me. Like as in why they word it tgat way.. if i wasnt watching a video.. i wouldn't know what "2dc inc by 1 more" means.. a "2dc inc,dc 8, 2dc inc" i would, but that "by 1 more" makes zero sense to me
