I've been making and sending a little crochet something and a card every week during lockdown and sending them to my granddaughter which she's loving! This week I'm making a little chain of flowers, she's going to love these!

I love this floral chain. My second granddaughter is on the way. I'm making a pacifier clip with it. Not so easy attaching a flower to the clip but I found a way. The patience needed with this pattern is worth it. Thank you.💮🌸🌼

That is so cute... And I wanted to say thank you so much for putting your own close caption up on the screen. It makes it so easy to follow along. Being cause I am deaf and sometimes I miss what people say. I hope you will continue to put the close captions up. Your a blessing. I wish all crocheters would do that. It would make it easier for a lot of people who may have a hard time. God Bless and love all your work...:)

So adorable! Thank you for making & sharing. Just waiting for the day you come up with a elephant pattern ;) hehe.

Your videos are super but I’ve finally admitted defeat on crocheting. I have a mental block on all the holes and wot goes where. I suppose it’s not going to come to everyone, and I can appreciate your skill but have never had any one show me how to in person and once KZbin started I thought great, I will do it now but it’s not happening! At school I missed all the sewing, knitting etc lessons cos I opted to do home economics every time and got away(!) with it and nobody noticed for 4 yrs!!! But I have made my whole career in ‘food’ so it paid off, but now a little part of me wishes I had taken at least a term of crocheting!! Life story over!!! I will just watch some of your videos in case something takes root! TFS 🧶🧵🪡

I am new to your videos. I love your patterns. But, I have a question. Why not make the center of the flower white and make the petals with the color yarn? Instead of making the petals white and then single crocheting over them with the color yarn. Do you think the petals would be stable enough? You know, you are making me go out to my yarn store today to look for this type of yarn. LOL Thank you so much for your great talent and your great videos.
@HappyBerryCrochet9 жыл бұрын

Hello Laura. I was wondering if there is a way to make this cute flower chain into a border for a baby blanket. I have this light weight spring colored baby blanket that needs something like this.
@StingrayGirl20129 жыл бұрын
Hello! I am new to this channel and I've noticed that you do the chain 4, slip stitch method as opposed to the magic circle. Would you be able to use the magic circle in the beginning of this project? (Making the center of the flower) By the way, I love your channel, your projects are very clever and your videos are very clear and easy to follow. Thank you!
@HappyBerryCrochet9 жыл бұрын
StingrayGirl2012 I use a mix of the two techniques in my tutorials, however I tend towards the chaining method as it is more suitable for beginners. You can always swap the chain four at the beginning for a magic circle and work the stitches into the circle instead of the loop of chains, it will work out the same.

I have made a long chain to hang, I've noticed that the longer the chain the more weight is put on the first few flowers causing them to stretch. How can this be corrected, I've tried only using stiffer yarn as opposed to the soft yarn for blankets, this helps some but not really
