This is a great pattern. Easy to understand as well. I've been crocheting for decades and I've not see a leave done this way. I love seeing new-to-me patterns. Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful pattern! Easy to follow instructions. I appreciated that she went through the same steps multiple times so I could get the muscle memory down. Thank you for taking the time to put this video up

You really should credit Elena Rugal for this leaf cord as I believe it is her design 😮

Yes, this was her design and had been adaptep by some crocheters for making face mask adapter during the covid-19. I did let her know that I was going to adapt this design for face mask adapter too and I had credited her in description.

these are so pretty but I just can't get them to work... although I think the problem may be with me here because I've pretty much gone through ALL videos I could find on KZbin regarding this pattern (in all languages 😅) and I still couldn't get it right... but yours has been the most helpful so far, at least now I know *where* to make the groups of half complete double crochets... I guess I'll experiment a bit or just give up

Try watching a basic Tunisian crochet tutorial first, this is adapted for normal crochet, it works on hooks with grips still

you're the second leaf cluster pattern I've tried and I still can't get it right! You need to slow down when doing some of it because I cannot see the 2ch loop as it's caught up in lots of stitches. Very disappointing as I like the look of this pattern but obviously it's too difficult to follow.

Maybe don't criticize her cus you can't follow instructions
@estherdail13342 жыл бұрын
@@aprilleyvas31 'slow down' and 'try to speak more clearly' are valid requests to ensure that we can actually *understand* the instructions in order to follow them. I'm going on assumption for some of the portions of the pattern because I have no idea what words she just said.

She's not going that quickly and the fact that she uses larger yarn than most people also is helpful. If you have problems following her speed, use the playback speed options to slow the video down (that helps with a lot of crochet videos) I've watched four different videos in different languages to figure out the turning for this pattern, got the leaves right on the first one but not the turning. I finally realized after watching this one that you don't even need to.
