Crochet Lily of the Valley Flower Keychain || Bell Flower Crochet for Beginners

Absolutely adorable!! The notation was a little bit difficult to understand in places, though, so for anybody else wanting to create these beauties I have made a little *summary* below :3 FLOWERS R1: 6sc into magic ring, slst into 1st sc to join (6) R2: 6inc, slst into 1st sc (12) R3: (sc, inc) 6 times, slst into 1st sc (18) R4-6: sc all around, slst into 1st sc (18) R7: (sc, dec) 6 times, slst into 1st sc (12) R8: (sc, hdc, dc) in the first stitch, (dc, hdc, sc) in the second. repeat for each set of 2 (you should end up with 6 petals). slst into 1st sc (36) fasten off and weave in. Repeat 4 times for 4 flowers. STEMS make 2 long chains (ch50 and ch75) LEAVES slst, ch16 (2sc in same stitch, 2hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc) for the first leaf, (sc, hdc, 3dc, 2hdc, 3sc in same stitch) for the second leaf (18) working the other side of the chain, (2hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc, hdc, 3dc, 2hdc, sc) slst to join, fasten off and weave in. PUTTING IT TOGETHER take one of the stem chains and fold it in half thread the loop through the leaf centre, as seen at 11:39, leaving a loop at the top thread each end of the chain through the top of a bellflower. knot at the end of the chain to secure. trim off tail. thread one of the leftover flowers onto the remaining chain using the same method thread the other end of the chain through the opposite side of the leaf centre, as seen at 13:52 attach the remaining bellflower attach keyring to the top loop (optional)

I did this with weight 4 yarn (aka 8 ply)with a 4mm hook and it worked well. However the resulting flower was a bit short. I would have preferred to add another row of stitches, so instead of doing R4-6 of sc, I would have done R4-7 instead
