I used to work at a hobby lobby in the yarn sections and they would be out of stock of products for multiple weeks or months in a row, so that could have been why it was hard to get. I think of the faux fur, we were only supposed to have 4 on the shelf at one time, and since there is so little yardage, when people bought it, they generally bought it all. But you can ask for special orders! Just go to the person at the fabric counter and ask them for a special order of yarn. That allows them to order however many you want AND more for the shelf, and they'll call you when it comes in. So if it was out of stock, they'd call you when it comes in (unless it had been many months, then your order might just ~disappear~). If I were you (because I think you said it was a pain to get there?) I might call and place a special order and get a bunch of it at once so you don't have to deal with it anymore for a few months, lol! And if you placed the order when the item was on sale, or picked it up on a week when it was on sale, you would get the sale price (so the 30% off).

AAAAnd no shipping cost for the special orders placed and picked up in store! They keep it in the back for you too so nobody can steal it! Then just go to the fabric counter or to someone at the front of the store when it comes in and they'll go grab it for you!

I'm just laughing at all the hobby lobby drama. I said when I was there that they needed an express line. Those 3 cart "decorating the church, tax free" transactions were the death of me. And it was WILD that 1,000$ of cheap garland and florals can be considered tax free
