There is niw a fabric hot glue, so you don't have to use the 24 hr drying time fabric glue.❤

Looks like a lot of vendors in California uses umbrellas for outdoor market. Still a little too cold here in the east coast for outdoor markets.

There are a lot of markets that have canopy events, I just don't participate in many of them. Typically those events allow for a 10x10 space, however, most of the markets I've done have limited space so we use umbrellas instead. I've seen some east coast crochet market vendors set up and it's crazy for me to imagine having a market in the snow, let alone the fact that the weather is just that much colder on the other side of the country! O:

Hello! A few tips I have for beginners is to learn the crochet terminology, basic stitches, and start with acrylic yarn and a smaller hook. The skeins of yarn will list the yarn weight and the recommended hook size for any given project. I also recommend beginning with simple projects, such as a beanie or a scarf to get used to the motion of crocheting and understanding your yarn tension. If any of these suggestions seem confusing, it helps to search up the terms on youtube. You'll find lots of videos for beginners here! Good luck and happy crocheting! :)

It's good to always be visible at your table/set up to let customers know that there is someone watching while they browse. I also make sure to interact with every customer, even if it is only to say hello and to keep an eye on them while they are browsing. It helps to have another person on the lookout, but if no one is available to help you, make friends with your neighbors so that if they notice something suspicious, they'll let you know. Lastly, you can also have signs built into your set up stating not to touch items unless they have clean hands (which can help to deter people from picking up items and walking away). I hope these suggestions help!

Which material of yarn do you use for cardigans ❤❤

I haven’t made a cardigan but I’d assume you’d want to use a worsted weight yarn (size 4) that’s soft so the cardigan feels nice?
