Great work, you’re very talented! Just a few things you may want to consider when uploading an instructional video: 1. Make sure you are using a yarn that is easy to see. The yellow you’re using its so bright, your light is shining off of it & it’s incredibly difficult to see the stitches clearly. 2. Make sure you are using the correct terminology & your directions/instructions are clear. Throughout your video you keep saying one thing but then your work shows you doing something different. Your instructions overall are just hard to follow. It’s important to be clear and make sure you’re easy to understand. And always work slowly on ur first few steps. 3. Always make sure your work stays on camera. & your edits show your progress slowly. You move your work around way too much and its goes off camera a lot, this makes it hard to understand what it is you’re doing. You also have random cuts in your video that skips certain steps & instructions and then you lose what it is you’re supposed to be doing. It isn’t impossible to make this bikini with these instructions but i had to rely heavily on watching and rewatching your work to try and get the stitches correct. Keep on creating! You are amazing at it!

Don’t know where your from but the terminology is right… it’s in US terms, there are different ones. Like UK ones are different, a double crochet in UK terms is a US single crochet. Don’t know if that’s what you think is wrong here, but she’s using proper US terms

She meant sometimes she’d say go into your double crochet but it would be a treble or vice versa, simple slip of the tongue but if you were watching the video you could understand what she meant… she was just offering some constructive criticism. But if you’re an experienced crocheter the tutorial is adequate, maybe not so much for beginners might need a little extra effort. But she doesn’t need to slow everything down if she didn’t explicitly say for beginners

Chanel Gold I wouldnt say it would be weird , but I wanted mine to be flexible and not stiff. I have seen others use a weight 4 yarn and its been fine.

Hey, at 9:10you said put a dc into the chain, but we weren't working in dc. Als was it 16 rows in total for the bottom (including the previous 7 ) or 16 rows of increases

Love the patience you have but if you are teaching you have to ensure your camera is focus and people can see what you are doing, you are out of focus most of the time and not really showing where you are placing the stitch. It would be helpful if you slow down when starting a new stitch placement so we can follow you and not get frustrated.

The chain 2 counts as a stitch, so you will put another double crochet in the same stitch and will have two stitches

Girl why are there no stitch counts? Also, at times I kept getting confused bc I feel you could've been clearer where the stitches were going. Also the yarn color is so hard to see and especially when I'm confused, it's hard to tell where the stitches are going when the yarn keeps moving in and out of view.

Im so sorry, the honest truth was I barely figured it out, I found the middle stitch at the top of my bottoms, strung the 250 chain through, and did a corset style through the middle of the picot stitch till I got to the top, I had alot of string left so I tied a bow in the middle and tucked the excess into the piece, hope that helps!

im an XS and following her instructions exactly and it seems like it will fit. I think the lace tape is very forgiving with size since it doesn't cover much up to begin with ;) if the bottoms are too big for you just leave off a few rows on the front and back

I use different sized hooks for the different sizes. For xs I used a size 3mm hook and for large I use size 4.75-5 mm hook
