Ch = chain
DBC = double crochet
st/sts = stitch / stitches
sc = single crochet

Chain 17
Row 1 - DBC in 2nd chain from the loop
DBC in each st across
Ch 2; Turn
Total of 15 sts
Row 2 - DBC in next 14 sts
DBC in last st & change to color #2 (black)
Ch 2; Turn
Total of 15 sts
Row 3 - DBC in each st across
Ch 2; Turn
Total of 15 sts
Row 4 - DBC in next 14 sts
DBC in last st & change to color #3 (Red)
Ch 2; Turn
Total of 15 sts
Row 5 - DBC in each st across
Ch 2; Turn
Total of 15 sts
Row 6 - DBC in each st across
*with skewer in place* Ch 1
sc along the side of the flag around skewer
Ch 1; cut (leaving a tail to weave in the ends)
Total of 15 sts
