Love that this video is moving at a “fantastic pace”. Not to slow that your sitting and waiting for that next stitch! Not so fast, that you can follow. I love tutorials, but having a tutorial that is right in the middle for “pace” is perfect! There are many beginner videos on KZbin, it is refreshing to find a few that moves a little faster! Thanks You ! ❤️Loved making this scarf!

Thank you for this video, this is my first time doing anything lace or anything that resembles it, and these instructions were very clear and helpful. It also helped that you said every step, and did not go too fast, but were very patient. I am fairly confident I will be able to complete this with no issue :)

The pattern is pretty a d the video is very clear. I had to make a written copy in order to remember details as I was learning the pattern, though . People learn in different ways, and some of us learn more easily from a written format and many more easily from a visual format. Having both would make a very strong presentation. I later saw that there is comment which has a link to a written pattern distributed in Dropbox. Additional information is needed in order for make a triangle shawl. Since this pattern could be used with any yarn and an appropriate hook, dimensions for a finished shawl would be helpful. Other triangle shawl patterns seem to make.a shawl about 51 inches by 35 inches. The triangle is is narrow. Each row increases by only one flower motif. I have completed only half, so far. I am using Caron Simply Soft #4 with an H hook. I expect the completed shawl to be fairly heavy when it is finished, appropriate for fall and winter weather. I am making this shawl for my sister who is going through chemotherapy for Non-Hodgekin lymphoma (cancer). I want to wrap her in my love.

I liked this pattern very much so too. I'm trying to figure out how to turn it into a square such as a blanket. I am going to stop when I have my desired width and then make another exact one, then join like you would granny squares. We'll see how it turns out. Thank you for sharing!
@IndraniBanerjee01126 жыл бұрын
I'm a DIY crocheter so can't really say so with conviction, but couldn't you just decrease as you go past the midline of your project? Making two similar triangles to join up means you would have a seam in the middle of your project, and the pattern going the wrong way.. The other way around your dilemma could be by crocheting not 2, but 4 triangles each the shape of 1/4th of your desired blanket size. Then join them up from the apex (starting point) which would give you a pattern with the flowers looking symmetrically outward from the centre and a pretty seam in both axes across the project ....
@satsumamoon4 жыл бұрын
Youd need two of these triangles for a shawl anyway
@conniehaworth26714 жыл бұрын
Maria Torres I've been working a square just now and here is how easy that would be. Look up shell over shell pattern and instead of the shell work the flower. Now there is a shell between shell pattern which is a more solid piece. So flower over flower would be a more lacy than the shell between shell. I'm sure it's on KZbin.
@MariaTorres-fe7jo4 жыл бұрын
@@conniehaworth2671 Thank you Connie, I will look it up. I broke my left femur,, in lock down because of Covid-19. So I will have some fun looking up that pattern on you tube. Thanks again. May the true God watch over you and take care of you and your family.

Maria Torres I just worked up a swatch using the shell stitch pattern. Couldn't post my photo. Using that those instructions just substitute the shell with the flower puff stitch. Hope this helps.
