Hi thank u for a nice pattern, i just want to ask what if the round shape for the sides has a short yarn left, i cut it shortly bcoz i did it first....what i need to do? hope for ur reply...thanks

marylou fernandez you need to weave end the short end and join new blue yarn, by inserting the hook same way and grab the new yarn, chain 1 to secure it, go through the same loops again and slip stitch and continue slip stitching. Hope that helps

U can't have 40 in the next round for the round shape because 30 +one for every alternative makes 15 therefore 30 + 15 = 45.

Actually, no - ch 2, hdc in next stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch, then hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st - 40 sts total. The ch 2 at the beginning counts as a stitch, so the repeat is hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st
