to everyone whose petals didn't overlap after the second row: I added a third row consisting of chain + slip stitch in every stitch of the petal and at the end of a petal, slip stitch into the first sc of the next petal, similar to the hibiscus tutorial from this channel hope this helps ^^

I had the same problem so I added a third row consisting of chain + slip stitch in every stitch of the petal and at the end of a petal, slip stitch into the first sc of the next petal, similar to the hibiscus tutorial from this channel. As for the middle part, I always use a magic ring because you can manually tighten it at the end and it works best for me hope this helps ^^
