Very soft spoken, easy to listen too. I was never afforded the luxury to be able to work on my crochet while my littles were little, it is nice that you can. Now I'm retired, and I can do what I want. Lately I've been working on scrapghans and using up all my odds and ends.

Hi! I loved all your projects…can’t wait to see the granny square projects completed, bunnies are so adorable!!! The border on you blanket was really nice and fun. My favorite item was your juniper cowl…the color way that the yarn made is beautiful. I’ll have to check Toni’s pattern and add it to my list of projects. Your WIPS and FO’S are all really nice. Welcome as a new channel to the crochet community!!! I’m a new sub and loved how cozy and inviting your videos are. Looking forward to catching up on your other videos and watching for future ones. Congratulations on your first video! I’ve been a die hard crocheter for 40 years. I always say 50 years, but I stopped for 10 years because I have severe arthritis. I’ve been disabled for 16 years and picking up crocheting again has done wonders for me. I’ve been making sweaters for about 3 years now, the learning top down method 2years ago. Just goes to show you you can teach an old dog new tricks!

@@fullofgracestitches My all-time favorite crochet top pattern is Sandra Paul’s (aka Cherry Heart) Florence Tee because it’s made up of several (usually 60 for me) small squares which are joined in a way that resembles a lacy trellis and are perfect to wear over dresses or a tank top in the summer. 🌞

This was your first episode? You seem like a seasoned pro. I enjoyed seeing everything you made. I only buy acrylic yarn because I want the ability to machine wash and dry. @@fullofgracestitches I usually have jewelry I've made but last show I did I took a bunch of hats and fingerless gloves. I sold equally between the jewelry and crochet. This summer I'm adding simple anagarumi- mostly Gnomes- and kitchen stuff - mug rugs - bowl cozies etc. I'm going to do a big sale on the jewelry because I dont plan on making new stock. We'll see what the season brings ! Luckily the booth space is cheap because its definitely a game if chance! But if I sell stuff I can buy more yarn! That's how I try to make my hobby free ❤

I loved the podcast!!! I was thinking of starting a temperature blanket AND I use a happy planner/Discbound planner! So I loved the way you organized the colors for the blank! I will be copying. I just started crocheting after knitting for a few years. I do both, but prefer crochet. Current WIPs: triangle shawl, pocket shawl/scarve, and knitting socks-toe up! I will always knit a few pair of socks every year, and might try crocheting a pair. Thanks for a great vid!!🙂

I enjoyed your podcast! It came up in my YT feed. I really like your temperature blanket. It looks like a Moss stitch. I'm crocheting a square Moss stitch blanket with Advent minis, going from corner to corner. Do you know how to knit too? I do both so just wondered. How did you learn to crochet?
@fullofgracestitches Жыл бұрын
Hi Debbie! Thank you so much for watching my video! You are correct, the temperature blanket is crocheted using the Moss Stitch. The Moss Stitch blanket you are crocheting sounds really great! I've never done corner to corner crochet blankets before but they look really lovely. Someday, I would like to get an advent. I've seen so many great patterns out that are designed around using Advent minis! Great question about knitting. I do knit also but haven't in a while. Maybe I'll break out my knitting needles in the future. I learned to crochet by watching KZbin videos, reading books and patterns. I felt comfortable when I first picked up my crochet hook b/c I already knew how to knit. What things do you like to knit? Thank you for your wonderful comments!

No offense here but I'm not sure some people understand what a podcast is. A podcast is strictly an audio file to be heard and not seen. People listen to podcasts through music streaming sites. Another way of looking at it is an interview, story, or discussion that used to only be listenable via radio except now is accessed via satellite or Internet. What you're doing is visually recording your crocheting project to share as a video.
