Great tutorial for beginners/ anyone. I’ve only been crocheting for 3 months now and I didn’t have any trouble understanding. The only thing I did differently was I added a shell boarder to the top. ❤❤ thank you for taking the time to share this and being so descriptive!

I’ve cracked it thank you so much, finally….I was adding a double crochet x2 at the end of each row and mine resembled a small boat shape, my stitch count was 54; 😂 😂 😂 I have watched, watched then watched again and finally yippeeeee a phone case and a glasses case fabulous, love your tutorials, your knowledge is so valuable. Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m a newbie, (4 months) I’m amazed with perseverance, once it clicks crochet-ing is quite easy, just count, always count, always stitch mark and you are away. Good luck to all the newbies, you will do it, you will get there and when you do, you’ll be so proud of yourself and might even say A woohoo I’ve got it! 🎉 xxxx

Hi I have a question! For round 24, by the time I’m at the final C3 space, the space before that I put 2 double crochets. Is it supposed to be 1 double crochet by that point? I’ve restarted round 24 many times now and I always end up with having 2 double crochets for the last 2 spaces!
@bellacococrochet Жыл бұрын
For round 24 you should be working *2 dc in the chain 3 space, 1 dc in the next stitch* around, ending with working two double crochets in the final chain 3 space. It might be worth going back over the earlier rounds to check your stitch count and make sure you have the correct number of chain space. You can find the written instructions on my blog here to help you: blog.bellacococrochet.com/crochet-pouch/ 😊

Thank you for this pattern. If I wanted to make it larger, can you tell me what the multiple “plus” of the foundation chain would be? Thanks!
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome 😊 To make a larger version of this I would recommend simply using a larger hook size and/or thicker yarn - you can even hold two strands of yarn double. This way you can follow the pattern as written, with no need to adjust.

For round 27 is the repeat, 4 x half treble, skip 1 and then 6 half treble or just 4 half treble, skip 1 and 4 half treble skip 1 until you get back to the beginning? Therefore only 1 lot of 6 half trebles on the round? Thanks 😊
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
If you pop over to my blog you can find the full written instructions: bellacococrochet.com/crochet-pouch/? but yes, there is just one lot of six half trebles, the rest are sets of four 😊

Hello I started crocheting a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been having a little bit of trouble with my Amigurumi project 😅 I am currently crocheting with two colored yarns (an orange one and a white one) and I was only working using the single crochet technique and hiding the other colored yarn behind my work, but I now have to do an invisible decrease and I was wondering how am I supposed to hide this yarn ? Thank you very much !
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
You don’t say what method you’re using to hide the yarn (whether you’re working over it or simply holding it to the back of your work), but while you make the decrease I would simply hold the other colour to the back and then begin to work over it once you’ve completed the stitch. If you give it a gentle pull you should find it’s not noticeable 😊
@techeraurore2 жыл бұрын
@@bellacococrochet Hello ! I’m sorry I don’t think I quite understood your response I’m new to crocheting 😅 but I was holding the yarn behind the back of my work when single crocheting and I still don’t really understand how to do the invisible decrease. I was wondering if I should yarn over the colored yarn first and then make the stitch or do I yarn it over during the stitch or what do I need to do ? Thank you 😊

Can i add more rows to make it bigger? How many rows should i add to make it even?
@bellacococrochet Жыл бұрын
To make it bigger you can work more of the mesh rows to increase the height; it doesn’t need to be any number in particular 😊 You could also increase your hook size to make the whole bag bigger.

If you haven’t already then I’d check against the written instructions over on my blog here: blog.bellacococrochet.com/crochet-pouch/ to make sure you’ve followed all of the pattern correctly. If you’re sure that everything is right I’d suggest blocking your bag to see if that helps 😊

@bellacococrochet3 ай бұрын
When you reach the end of the round, make sure that you’re chaining three before joining with a slip stitch to the slip stitch at the beginning; if you miss this, you’ll be a chain space short and your bag will get smaller each round 😊

Can you PLEASE actually show the positions and unblock the yarn with your hand for some shots? I got very lost at the rotation part because your hand was in the way showing the stitches when what I need to see was how you rotated it and where the end yarn was. Idk as a beginner I found this kind of hard to follow…
