Hi Stella,you can start with less chains but not start with magic ring. Because we use top many treples to get started.

This is gorgeous! I can't wait to make it as a prayer shawl. Is there a written pattern for it? At 4:08 you say to make your last treble in the stitch... but where? It looks like you chose any chain in the circle to make the last treble. Is that true?
