Finished my first one with colors as prescribed in the pattern. Seems larger than I expected, but matches measurements in pattern. Its also very heavy for a newborn blanket and will label/tag it when I gift it as "play mat". Starting my next version using same yarn but this time in sunset colors. 24 (top/bottom) or 16 rows each in this color order: Brook, Green Mist, Duckling, Posy, and Red Wagon. Thanks for the pattern and well done tutorial!!!

Love love your patterns. Very friendly and easy to follow. I made Haley’s college scarf for a co-worker and it came out beautiful just sold it today. Thank you.

I really like when you explain the whole process of the project till the final edges in the same tutorial. This project looks beautiful and easy. I would like to know how many yarns you use of each color. Thanks.🌻

I’m going to make this blanket for my grandson who will be joining our family February 2023! I hope I can figure out the decreases properly to make the triangles! I’m pretty sure I can. We’ll see 😂

I really love this pattern and have started to work on one of my own, but for some reason the project seems to want to bunch up in curls and not lay flat. I do plan to steam block once the blanket is finished, but when I have had this problem before, steam blocking was not enough to make the blanket completely flat. Could anyone help?

I had a problem with the beginning chain being too tight, I solved it easily by using a 1-size-larger hook. Hope that helps!
@crystalhall5683 жыл бұрын
I just started this and im having the same issue of it wanting to curl. I might be using too much tension and I know my count is right because ive triple checked. Lol
@reguidinger2 жыл бұрын
Same! I’m going to frog it and use a larger book size for the initial chain and see if it helps.
@justagramma2 жыл бұрын
I'm trying to figure out why mine ruffled HORRIBLY when I used the same weight yarn and the same hook as you did. I tried and frogged 7 times using different combos of hook sizes and finally went way up to a size L hook for the chain
@justagramma2 жыл бұрын
computer sent the above before I was done. I used the I hook for the body of the blanket and it still ruffles some but not enough to worry about. I am noted for making my chains pretty loose so can't imagine why it ruffled(and it was really bad) I did the stitches exactly like you did. I don't see a single ruffle in yours
@hellotherepinay2 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem. Did you ever figure out why?
@ilianabompou33352 жыл бұрын
Hey- I have the same problem but at this point can't frog as it is all done- it seems that crocheting the border made ruffling worse and I wonder if by changing the hook only for the border might help...anyone tried that?
@justagramma2 жыл бұрын
also I wish you had shown the decreasing
@Maine_Grammy2 жыл бұрын
Agree. I’m a little unsure about the decreases. Do you decrease all on one edge of the triangle? I’m imagining it would look lop-sided lol. I guess I’ll find out once my yarn arrives! Might be doing some frogging on this project 🤷🏻♀️
