A few days later i reopened the video and watched a little more and when you gave your words of encouragement I actually believed that I could do this…..and I did! I actually did it. Great pattern! Very easy, fast, and looks fantastic when finished. I made one blanket for a charity drive and another one as present for family and have now another request to make a pillow case (to match the second blanket) and even a doily (for a square coffee table) with this pattern. Also the tutorial is very well done.

I used two cakes of 4 weight Caron blossom cake in the color Cabana with a 5mm (h) hook. Looks like the red rock desert in Sedona. Hope this helps you!

This is very pretty filet crochet in the round - - NICELY DONE. Personally, however, I don't prefer square baby blankets. It isn't easy to make this one rectangular while maintaining the established appearance.

I haven’t finished the video yet, but this looks like something I can do. I’ve done granny squares before so I feel pretty comfortable with the concept. Anything that doesn’t start with chaining a million starting chains is great in my book! Plus if you mess up you can recognize a mistake right away instead of 3 or 4 long rows on work that has to be redone. Those are the projects that never get finished in my house. Hi. Ive loved making this. Im doing it in a baby blue with luxe and then the boarder in white with luxe. I am struggling with the border after my first row. How do i do the next row?
