For future reference, to make the safety eyes less stabby, your can melt the back with a lighter then flatten them with a butter knife or spoon

For the safety eyes what I like to do when I use them for flat or really small amigurumi projects is take a pair of fingernail clippers and cut just below the notch that the washer is on and then sand the edge smooth with a fingernail file. Or you could just file it down smooth without trimming it.

Such a cute idea! I recently learned how to flatten the backs of the safety eyes: heat up the spikes with a lighter (VERY carefully) then press with a thick cardboard. I like the result!

That would be fine for something you gift to adults/older children, but it actually makes the material weaker and they’re less strong so children could destroy it easier. But for something like these frogs it would be fine I guess :) just a little heads up, if you or others didn’t know 😅
