Love them both and I agree with everything you said. About the joining of the pannels i think it helps to make first the back pannel and then join the front panels as you are making them this way the change of colors and tge joining with each color is faster :> love your videos ❤❤❤❤

The edges between the colors are sharper in crochet, while the edges are smoother in the knitted version

It's called Continental Style Knitting, I knit the same way you do! We were taught in school how to knit that way and I was so confused when I saw people on the internet knit the other way, it looks so tiring, even if it makes neater rows.

Just cast on more loops at the chain 🫶🏻 you can measure it by your clothes that you wear 🌸☺️

I like them both! But for me knitted is more comfortable. because it’s softer 🫶🏻

if you wash this cotton yarn, the crochet top will also get a more airy feeling

i was just going to comment that, but it seems from watching her crochet, that her tension is very tight. This will make the material very bulky. I use cotton for clothing too and with a 6mm you do get an airy material :). It all comes to tension in the end. But both tops look absolutely beautiful!

Yes, I was surprised that with a 6mm hook, it still came out with almost no big visible gaps
