GREAT video as usual! This Star Blanket has gone viral and has been a recent source of controversy. (I can tell you know by some of the things you said) I can crochet quite well, but have been a bit intimidated by this blanket because of the gossip surrounding it. Well, guess what? I'm gonna do it! Looks great! Min wage where I live in Canada is $15/hr so everyone selling crochet here is selling themselves short or can crochet near light speed! I often think about that when people ask me why I don't sell my crochet items. Makes you really treasure the people that value your makes! Oh, Mikey from Crochet Crowd has a video on how to add a stitch you missed rows back. It kind of grafts another stitch in? I have used it a time or two to save my sanity and it works!

Thank you for the great video! As of 1/1/25 minimum wage in my state (NY) is $16.50 😂 . And everyone wants free stuff but I would have to charge over $500 per blanket to he fair! 🫠 However, I give away my blankets to family, mostly my parents who have maybe 5 of my hand made crochet blankets. 🥰 Also I started my first 6 Day Star Blanket on 12/15/24 and finished it on 12/28/24.😊

You comment about minimum wage is so interesting! California minimum wage is more than double of North Carolina’s minimum wage ($16.50) . So a crocheter in California would have to charge double that ($478.50 !!) just for the blanket!
