It had been several years since I had thought of them but she had asked me something to which I had a yes response and I yip yipped instead!!! As an advanced crocheter I love this pattern I’m a child of Sesame Street I made my eyes much bigger myself but came out ok . You do go very quickly and I had to stop and slow this video down a lot. Esp with the decreasing . Ty again

I never comment on KZbin videos but as soon as I saw how u hold ur hook and wrap ur yarn I about fell over. I have never seen anyone hold their hook and wrap their yarn like me, until now😊 I thought the way I crochet was weird and awkward compared to everyone else but now I don't feel that a way knowing there is another person like me😁 great pattern, can't wait to try it.

Awwwwww! I've never met anyone who crochets like me either! I don't understand how people can crochet with their left index finger up and yarn wrapped all around their fingers 😆 also knife holding the hook is just more comfortable than pencil hold (for me at least). They are Furls Odyssey hooks, they have been discontinued, but you can find some second hand and I have also heard that the Furls streamline metals are a good second choice but they don't have the smaller sizes.

I crochet with my finger up. I control my yarn with my pinkie and index fingers. I am good by the way. It's just how I learned to crochet. No one way is better than the other. It's just like grip. Some people prefer the knife hold (me), some prefer the spoon hold.

Beginner question: When I go from row 6 to 7 do I need to add a single chain or is it just a straight circle round and round? I have it on playback speed of 0.5 and it's super beginner friendly that way!!!

The only time chains are needed is when you start working on rows then it's a chain 1 and a turn, the main body of the pattern is worked in continuous rounds 😊

They are a character from Sesame Street, this item is to hold small things, kind of like a little basket. Some folks hang them from their rear view mirror and put pens or lip balm in them or their sunglasses that kind of thing.

It is not sped up, this is my normal crochet speed. The settings have the option to slow the video speed down if you need it to be. 😊😊 But nope it's my normal crochet speed.

PS i see you are using tapered hooks there. Your hands are petite. Have you tried inlines? They have a shorter handle for more control and a rounded head with a much better shape so yarn wont split and still maintains/increases speed. You're pretty fast but might want to consider giving that a try. Might i recommend Clover Amour? A dream to work with! Again thanks for this tutorial. I feel like giving you a hug!
