I haven't tried the hex panholder. But ive tried some of the other coasters. Took about 3 5 pt coasters to look nice. Ppl are learning crochet so it's a... practice is worth it stuff. Am Looking forward to the cat. This is fun stuff. Once im happy with the Christmas stuff im going to try some more of this interesting collection as in test out new stitches n escape the insanity. I love hearing your birds of the English world. So nice. Kitty the puss is a character. Fur babies don't bother me. Makes you more real n civilized. Plus they keep the pest control. I. Hope you have a very lovely and blessed Christmas and New Year. Oh. I made one of your circles in very small red and about 2ply white tog. Then i did a semi ruffle edge. Now im using same yarns tog making a thing looks kind of like a strange shade tree or bouquet. I like to fiddle with the pattern sometimes once i make a sample. Do German crochet tutorials have an Octoberfest beer stein and a separate weinerschnitzel? Struck me as a cute idea. A mince pie? The ideas are so fun. Nice break from big projects. And from American crochet. 😊. I hope your winter is pleasant. Safe journeys and many blessings. Appreciate your talents.

Thank you so much! I have knitted for years and just recently started crochet. I finally understand how to make a cat coaster,I have watched a few videos , and this is the first one that is understandable. Amazing how you were able to include some basic crochet into your talking. You are also very entertaining and down to earth! I am looking forward to more projects with you.

Easy to follow and I love how it turned out. After making the tail with 20 stitches it looked a bit long so I left it at 20 stitches and did a little whip stitch to keep the base of the tail closer to the body and it turned out perfect. Thank you for this pattern.

Ok, having watched the whole video now, I want to say three things - (1) You do an excellent job explaining how to make a magic circle, (2) You make crocheting this round cat coaster super simple, showing clearly how to put in the increases and add on the ears and tail at the end, and (3) Yes, I'd love a video in the future that discusses developing our own pattern variations. For instance my 17yo daughter has two pet Shetland sheep, and I'd love to make her a set of coasters. Next to the ears, I'd need to add little curved horns. Hmmm.... I might just give it a go and experiment. How bad could it be? (Maybe really bad? ☺️)
@CrochetandTea4 жыл бұрын
That’s the beauty of crochet it’s so easy to experiment with different stitches to make a pattern! Plus it’s so satisfying to know your created something from scratch ☺️

I can't wait to try these! So cute! I want to make them for my sister and my son who both have grey tabby cats. I found this on Pinterest and it started on this one.
