Thank you for showing us this stitch. It is absolutely wonderful and you have done a great job explaining it. Except for one thing. This is called the lemon peel stitch. The crunch stitch has a half double crochet and a slip stitch

Thank you so much making wash or dish or coets for face are my favorite things to make and I give them away as random acts of kindness to women so making someone happy and put a smile on their face is worth it and prayerfully help them to see Jesus in the love I put into them God Bless

Fantastic ! This video is so very well done so clearly demonstrated, and clearly explained. You are the crochet beginners bestest friend 🙂 Thank you! I just got some handicraft yarn after Grandma passed. I can keep up the family tradition. 🎄

Thank you so much for going into detail in explaining, and showing where to insert the hook, for us beginners. So many videos just say what to do and don't show it clearly. I made one of these and it's my favorite wash cloth so far. It doesn't really look like a "pattern," but the texture is very, very nice, and doesn't spread out so much when it's wet. (Some of the really pretty patterns such as shells spread apart too much when you use them.) And I actually was able to make a square, not lop-sided, cloth. Thanks! Like others, I can barely hear you, though.

Video demo shows that you know your audience. You were very clear. however, i could hardly hear you. Looking forward to learning from your other videos. Happy Knitting!

All you had to do was turn up your volume.

Darlene Powell, I notice even with the volume all the way up it's still a little hard to hear. But it is an amazing tutorial non the less!

I have been stuck in this... purgatory of self teaching myself to crochet... I am not the best, but Im ok with sucking because Im learning.. Ive started a few projects, and fizzled out... lost 2 hooks, and gave up for a couple of weeks. I decided, whilst failing to self motivate myself to finish said projects (and failing) that I was over-shooting. To retrace what I THOUGHT I know. Maybe I MIGHT end up with 10,000 dishcloths and wash clothes.. but as long as I was learning new stitches and perfecting the square/rows. I dedicated my efforts t making 7 pink/purple wash clothes for my 5 year old. I have to tell you- I'm only 3 rows in, and this is 2/7, and yes you're hard to hear (as Ive read others say, sure you know, and I dont care); I REALLY appreciate your teaching style, and explanations.... Im hoping this will be my most perfect square so far- but there is a patience in the way you have walked me through the end of the rows, AND Im learning 'the crunch stitch'..... thank you!

Love you videos... I am wondering why you don't crochet over your tail when you are putting your finishing boarder on? Would it not be easier to crochet over the tail or do you like and prefer to weave in the tail?
@knitandcrocheteverafter8 жыл бұрын
It is easier to crochet it over, but because it is a straight line instead of being woven in and out, it is easier for it to come out over time.
