No no, don't "fix" the Raikou tail! That's an excellent use of pipe cleaner! And then pompom Grotle-they're such good accessory buddies! :D Also, my favourite pokémon is Joltik! Not made yet, and won't show up until gen five... hmph. So many of my second favourites are in gen two, though. Really looking forward to Meganium in particular!

If it wouldn't take too much time and work, I think it'd be fun if Cabbage evolves into a dupe that you make a shiny version of the pokemon you've made before. You could either make it as a perfect copy or take the opportunity to make changes if it's an old pattern. :D

Pipecleaner tail is perfectly legitimate, I really like it (and it makes it so bouncy!!) Maybe you can look next time you're at the store so you can get an icy blue to match the moustache though 😆

after you said you couldn't find images of grotle from the back might i just recommend pokemon go? Every pokemon you catch you have a 3D rendering of a pokemon you can rotate and if you tap it it jumps up a little so it can be possible to even see the bottoms of pokemon feet. Great tool for reference if you are crocheting pokemon

(Hiding my thoughts on the Pokemon below the "read more" to avoid spoilers for new people watching it) Also to answer the question, Absol's my favorite, he hasn't turned up yet, and I'm dearly hoping Cabbage evolves into him! Raikou turned out great! I don't hold the pipe cleaner tail against you, but I will say you forgot his white booty. Grotle was super-cute! Your delight upon seeing the shiny Wailord was just delightful! Moltres was fun, although I do question why you made his beak and feet orange rather than a brown beak and black/dark gray feet (which is what I perceive those colors to be). Ninjask was cute! A green Poliwrath named Cabbage. Yes, that is just perfection. (Yes I know, upon becoming a member of the Crochet Family separate from the run he'll get a new name that matches the other two, but it's still funny.)

One of my favorite pokemon is Chespin, but he's from Gen 6 so we probably won't ever make it there. Who knows though, maybe one day you'll have finished all pokemon from gens 1-5 and I'll get to see Chespin made. I love your videos! The pokemon turned out fantastic, especially Ninjask.

My opinion may not matter much, but I think you should change the tail. In the original design the tail is the same color as the mustache thing, and it looks kind of weird with it being a different color. The designs look very nice though, well done. Much love.🥰❤

Suggestion: when a pokemon has entered an evolutionary loop you pick one and then press B whenever they try to evolve out of that loop, when there are 2 pokemon in the same loop you pick one and box the other

Will these first shinies count towards the main crochetdex. I know on one of the streams we debated making a Pokémon shiny as you didn’t have the exact colours but decided against it.
