I was searching for tutorials how to make it correctly for days, and you're the only one who showed it with a common sense and great explanation for the absolute beginners. Thank you so much!

I laughed so hard when I saw the title of your video. That's how all of my circles look! I honestly thought that's how they were supposed to look. Thank you for teaching me how to make a real circle!

I want to say thank you! I have watched several other demonstrations for this method, however, only you were able to teach me the process for me to achieve the result I wanted. You are truly remarkable. Keep safe and my gratitude is everlasting.

Finally! I have seen a few tutorials claiming to teach how to crochet a perfect circle. I do think it would be helpful to know how many stitches should be in each round.

Thanks for the details, we needed them for sure! But I have big problem to close the circle when I use velvet yarns.... I single crochet six stitchs, and then, I have to pull the tail yarn to close the ring! At that very moment, 90% of my efforts, as I pull, the yarn cuts! Because it is velvet fabric and not an easy smooth yarn 😔 but I want to create a nice velvet circular pillow for my sofa.... Please can you help me? Any advice for velvet yarns? Thank you!

Hi I really love your solution. Thank you very much! I have one question though: you change the pattern with concentric circles ( by closing each row ) to one with some special spiral. I have troubles at the ending, when I need to go from the bottom of my basket to the sides, which are created with a pattern with bobbles and therefore need concentric circles. How do I switch to concentric again without creating a bump or a hole? Thanks in advance, Sara
@remarkablecrochet6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sara I am not sure if I understood the problem, but I’ll try my best. If my answer does not solve the problem please let me know. I would propose you two approaches 1. Please watch this video where I explain how to work concentric circles without having the hexagonal shape. 2. If the base of your basket is made using the technique shown in the video, you will have as foundation row the bottom circle last row. Lets assume that bobble stitch = 5 dc tog, you can work as follow R1: Ch 3 (this will count as one stitch of your 5 dc tog), finish the first 5 dc tog in the first stitch. *sc in the next stitch. dc 5 tog in the next stitch. Repeat from* until you reach the end of the row. You should end on a bobble stitch. R2: Ch 1 and sc in each stitch. Repeat rounds R1& R2 offsetting by one stitch to get your bobbles staggered.

@@remarkablecrochet Hi, thank you for your quick answer. I will rephrase my question. I am making a basket with a flat bottom (using your technique) and sides with bobbles. As your technique is a spiral, the last row does not end evenly, but with the end a little out of center. When I then switch to a stitch that needs concentric circles with a closure with a slip stitch, it leaves a bump. I do not know how to switch from spiral to concentric at the border where the bottom and the side of my basket meet. Hope this is makes my question more clear.

Hi Sara Have you used a stitch marker to keep track of the rounds? In principle no bump should be there. You could send me a photo via Facebook page Crochet it Academy

Hi Alicia! I appreciate a lot your words. I try to show everything in my projects because sometimes one is not able to complete a project due to those *details*. I do not have a coffee sleeve project yet, but it is a great suggestion for a next video
