Defrost the chicken and season it at least an hour before you cook. This will make the flavor pop. Add the dairy ingredients after the chicken is cooked and pulled, this will prevent separating. Other than that I think it could work.

ok so after reading all of these comments, most of which were redundant, especially about the weed grinder, i made this dish tonight. i defrosted the chicken breasts and seasoned with freshly ground black pepper and seared them in olive oil and butter. i added a bottle of the BBW sauce in addition to the cream cheese and 2 cups of water. i did not added salt. i did add red pepper flakes. i cooked on low for 6 hours. i shredded the chicken very easily in the slow cooker with 2 forks. i added the pasta and a lot of peas we like peas. i also added about a cup and a half of the pasta water which was salted and mixed it all up. after a half hour on low, i added 8 oz of shredded mozerella and mixed it in. i added another 8 oz on top & sprinkled fresh chopped italian parsley on top and cooked until the cheese melted. i served it with trepidation to my picky husband who is not shy about saying he does not like something and that i should feed it to the pigs. we both really liked it, and btw neither of us is white. what is with all the racist comments? while somewhat amusing and quite cliched, if white folks started ragging on a person if color's recipe with similar racial stereotypes, i guarantee folks would feel offended and would not stand for it. so it is ok to rag on white people?! especially on young white men?! i have never read comments like these regarding any other recipe video. it was a good recipe that did not take a lot of effort and tasted good and fed a lot of people. wtf?!

Inedible! I followed the recipe exactly. I even bought the shredder (which is awesome!) and froze fresh chicken breasts so as not to diverge from the instructions. The resulting dish, which could easily feed eight people if they were able to consume it, tasted of nothing but garlic. Not a single flavor but garlic could possibly come through, even the chicken was cancelled out. After much anticipation I ended up with a bunch a food no one will eat. Suggestion: Don't add additional garlic powder. The BWW sauce is too garlicy as it is. That might save it, but I won't be trying it again
@stephaniekirby3479Ай бұрын
If you’re interested in trying it again I’d recommend NOT using frozen chicken, add spices or a little of the sauce & marinade overnight or at least a couple hrs, leave out the cream cheese until the last hour or whenever you add the peas then add the cooked pasta at the end. You could also make this on the stove or in the oven, I’d personally leave out the block of cream cheese instead I’d add the sauce to a pan & add a little heavy whipping cream & a little of the pasta water to thicken up the sauce (depending how thick you want it) & add over pasta or even mashed potatoes. There are so many variations you could make that would be infinitely better than this nonsense
