Takes me back to when I worked in Miami, as well as the 80s. I still watch all the episodes of Miami Vice. It is weird how a song, or tune can make you feel something or can draw a picture in your mind. This song reminds me of when I lived in Jackson, AL, and looking south towards the clouds rolling in with cool air and the smell of rain giving way to the sounds of various birds, just watching the clouds roll in, in different shades of grey as they do just before a spring thunderstorm.

I used to watch, LOVE, this show in the 80s. I was a young man back then in my 20s. Little did I know I'd end up doing a 3 year stint there. Lived in Miami, well actually Miami Beach, well really SoBe, between the years of '92 and '95. I was in my 30s then. Job relocation from Chicago. Talk about a change in scenery. I go back quite often several times a year. Love it. Winters there

The 80's were the best times of my life. As a long time Miami resident I survived the drug wars of the 1980's. I still live there and this "vibe" is still alive even today and I hear talk they're working on a new version of Miami Vice. Don Johnson said this himself in a recent interview.
