It isn't realistic they make the game so it's realistic and the behavior of the animals is realistic too ofc they not gonna chase you unless they are threatened or you decided to become their dinner alligator is a big reptile most of the time they just relaxing so they can save their energy for later they aren't supposed too move alot that's how a alligator work Guapo is a crocodile not alligator

First of all, rdr2 has alligators not crocodiles. they live in different places. Second, alligators doesn't eat humans or larger preys and tries to avoid them irl to survive and they eats small preys like tortoise. Third, They only attack if provoked or defending their youngs. Fourth, They are less aggressive than crocs. Bull gator is the exception here. Hope this helps
