16:53 No, Bob's dead. Roll back to when Miguel was listening in on Bob's call to Sue. He looks to his associate José who walks out of frame. Then there's the close-up on Miguel's face as you hear a door knocked down, two silenced shots, & a body hitting the floor. The fact that you only hear those acts is actually quite a chilling moment.

Glad to see you didn't wait too long to watch this great sequel. Both films compliment each other perfect and you'd never know that CD2 was done two years later and wasn't filmed immediately after the first since they flow together without much of a hitch. Like both of you, it is difficult to say which one is better since neither are the same. They share similar qualities, but the sequel is a totally different director, which again is crazy to think how well John Cornell copied the visual style, pacing and settings of the Peter Faiman original, and added a bit more humor as well. The one issue I have is that the New York indoor scenes felt more like sets than actual locations from the first movie. That aspect doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment, but the Australian outdoor scenes were better. I totally forgot that Luis Guzmán (from the "Wednesday" series and many other movies and TV shows) and Stephen Root were in this classic. Stephen is the DEI agent Dundee questions in the restroom. This was his literal first acting job and look how his career has skyrocketed after that. I highly recommend watching one of Stephen's superb roles in the all-time classic movie, "Office Space". Loved seeing how much both of you thoroughly enjoyed CD2, as well as any great film. The 80s were an era of wonderful and memorable movies. The 90s as well, but the 80s were my teen years, so I love that era more. :)
@allenruss29764 ай бұрын
This is probably the earliest I've seen Stephen Root in a movie. He's the guy in the bathroom. He even steals the scene here. You girls even recognized Louis Guzman. No one else has.
@TheDanCazzoProject4 ай бұрын
His name is 'Luis' without the 'o'. But yes. - Stephen Root himself is actually great in "Raising Genius" with Justin Long and Wendie Malick, if you like films that are a bit wacky.

It's a good sequel because it successfully ups the stakes from the original without being a lazy carbon copy of it nor straying off the reservation of its original formula. However, like all sequels, it is by its very nature derivative. I can't say which one is better, they're probably both equal quality. There is a straight-to-video second sequel, but I never saw it. I heard it was very bad... By the way, I you two are both so beautiful, I would kill and wear the hides of a thousand crocodiles for either one of you! 😍😍
