This was a great video. I loved seeing the different varieties and colors. Here in the US, I'm used to just Montbretia and Lucifer. I really loved that yellow one! I came for a refresher on how to divide them in the fall and got more than expected. Thanks!

Good Information. I began growing crocosmia Lucifer this year, as I found the bulbs in a discount basket for just one dollar American. I bought them all as the bulbs appeared to be in excellent condition. Now I'm hooked. Did not know of other varieties, thanks on that one. Most educational on the division of clumping too. BTW you have great taste in music.

Thank you so much! This was very helpful. The house we bought has a large number of crocosmias under a window & I was planning to thin them out. I might use the ones I dig out with some shorter ones & plant them in a pot in my backyard so we can watch hummingbirds feed from them when we sit out in the summer.

Good video thanks. I loved the way he chopped straight through those leaves and ripped apart the clumps.

Brilliant guide to a great plant variety, thanks. Our Montbretia even does great at side of house which can be very windy and tends to just get sun in morning and evening.

I've been growing these Luci-Crocos for a few years. Can I plant the seeds? If so, how long will it take for them to grow? Thanks SO much for the video! It was a great help.

Can see the South African plants trend... Is that Eucomis and Agapanthus in the background on the floor... Good on you... I havent seen a pineappls lily before... Im growing some Gazanias and Agapanthus now here in Cape Town... Its so easy for me here... just pop the plants in. I hardly even have to take care of them.

Great video and I never knew there are so many varieties of Crocosmia -- they are all so beautiful. My crocosmia plants always flop over. Do I need to replant them deeper? Is that necessary or is the "flopping over" typical for this top heavy plant? I love them but it kills me every year to see them laying on the ground. Thanks!

ok.. nevermind, I wrote this midway through the video -- good tip, I will replant them in a few weeks!

Excellent video. I planted Lucifer Corcosmia last year after I saw a photo. This beautiful flower is growing vigorously in North East Texas. Question what is the name of the 1st blue flower shown that can be planted with the Corocosmai? Sorry, I couldn't understand the accent.
