Crocs - Echo Clog - Stucco - Did They Copy Salehe’s Design?

I have both and while they do seem inspired by the Salahe's, there is enough of a difference in them. The Salehe's look the best but the Echo's feel way better

I have both as well. And ur right. The salahes look better, but echos comfort is superior. I have the Yeezy foam runners as well and would even say the echoes feel just as good

I wear a size 11 in regular crocs, I got a size 11 in echos and did this method. I know some people say size down but if they fit a little big this will cure everything. Put them in the dryer with two damp towels for 4 minutes. As soon as you take them out of the dryer put them on your feet asap (barefoot)and they will mold to your foot for extra comfort. Wear until they cool down.

I love the look of the pollex but I'm not willing to spend $150+ on some crocs so when I seen these at Kith I picked em up. I get alot of compliments on em from random people actually, I think they're a dope take on the classic crocs. Kinda like a mix of crocs and some foam runners like you said and they comfy as hell

Had both pair delivered but I'm currently watching this vid at work lol. A friend had sent me a pic of these and I immediately went on crocs to see if my size was available. They look pretty dope! Only time Ive worn crocs are the slip resistance ones cause they're comfortable in the kitchen.

I would recommend sizing down a size and for anyone with wide feet like myself to stay at true to size because sizing down with wide feet might be a somewhat tight fit

You should definitely exchange them for a smaller size. It's enough room in that heel to put your car keys in'em. They selling these to all the people that couldn't get the Salehe's. I see it's working as well. Business as usual.

They’re semi breathable, but they do make my feet sweat bc they’re foam. I wear them with or without socks. They’re not hot, but the material makes my feet sweat.

Yo bred I got the echos in that yellowish colorway just as some around the house slippers and I’m liking them. But dude you mentioned the Grateful Dead and I have to say I have recently gotten super into them. I even saw the dead and co back in 2016 but the band didn’t fully click for me until recently. Grateful Dead is probably my second favorite band of all time. Never saw Jerry but I’ve seen the rest of them a couple times. I’d like to see them with Mayer as the frontman… I know they’re doing a tour, and it may be the last. I’ll prob try to make it to Star Lake in 2023. They’re so so good and have such a huge catalog. I actually ordered a set of GD jibbitz for my crocs last week… should be here soon I think. I’ll just throw one in at a time, I just couldn’t resist when I saw them. These actually use the Crocs Literide tech which is their softest insole compared to the classic insole used on the Pollex. This explains why these are comfier and squishier.

Yeah. If u get another pair, get a 9. I’m a 10.5 but I wear a 9 in crocs. 9 fits my foot perfect! Even with socks. Plus crocs loosen over time as well anyway

I’m a size 11 1/2 in shoes and the first time I got them I went with a 11 and they were way to big, now on this ones I went with a 10 and they fit pretty good

I’m not sure when comparing to other crocs bc this is the first pair I’ve ever had on feet. However, I would suggest going a full size down from whatever you typically wear in other shoes (Jordan 1, dunks, AF1, etc). The next pair I buy will be a 9, and I typically wear a 10 or 10.5. These run big. As Victor suggested, he went 1.5 down and they fit perfect. That’s what I plan on doing next pair I get. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

I don’t think it’s a rip off if the same brand is making a more affordable product of their higher end models it’s like Acura technology eventually trickles down to Honda example. Everything high and or technology eventually trickles down to the every day consumer and affordable prices And if it’s the same brand for their same products how is that a rip off.

That’s a great way putting it. If there’s nothing in the contract restricting them from building off Salehe’s design, then you’re right, it’s not ripping him off. I just wonder if he feels like they’re stealing from him, the same way Kanye feels with adidas. Or perhaps, he’s flattered by the fact that they like his design enough to continue a more affordable and accessible version of it. Either way, I’m digging this pair. Appreciate you watching, Mac!

@@BREDNBUTTER just wish Kanye would’ve had this mindset with adidas before completely obliterating their contract. It was very unprofessional the way he handled it. Nike makes affordable Off-White looking releases; Jordan brand even makes team Jordans, a more affordable alternative to the main line. It’s a concept as old as time itself, yet Kanye was surprised it happened to him. He should’ve been flattered.

I feel the same way. Crocs knew they were leaving a lot of money on the table because of the high demand for the Bembury Crocs, because the supply will never meet the demand. So they made an alternative model that is comparable that they can mass-produce.
