Crohn’s perianal fistulas: Charlotte’s story

Perianal fistulas are a painful complication of Crohn’s disease[1]. Charlotte, a psychotherapist from Solihull, England shared her experiences of living with this disabling condition.
Crohn’s disease runs in her family, with her sister having started with similar symptoms. Charlotte experiences embarrassment, pain and exhaustion living with Crohn’s perianal fistulas, but she is continually grateful for the support of her husband, family, and friends.
