My problem is not p1, but surviving the aoe dmg in p2 in hard mode.

Utilize Morgan's Fire relic skill 2. Make sure you have enough effect accuracy on her (50-80%) this will reduce the attack gage of the boss. If you have Gillian use her skill two with the same amount of effect accuracy. Otherwise, utilize Alan, the uncommon hero. You can use his skill two alongside Morgans to help stall the boss from attacking. This should give your damage hero enough time to take down the boss!
