mind boggling and grotesquely entrancing! you've outdone yourself AGAIN!! i think you got the coloring and design work on the labs perfectly...the metallic hardness of it all, wiring and test tubes etc, in contrast to the fleshy entanglements of tentacles, spines and way too many eyes. i definitely felt that Cronenberg of the 70's and 80's vibe, and the visceral evolving bodies of creatures had me in two minds (or 12!) as to whether i'd ever want to see this with dialogue and sound effects...cos surely it would be a lot of folks screaming "Get back! Get out! Pull that lever! Sound the alarm!"; the usual redundancy of words, as well as lot of squishy, gurgling, tearing sounds! Two of the more powerful images amongst all this mad science is the one where it appears that even the scientists have become the "monsters", but that hasn't stopped them wearing lab coats and continuing to experiment. the other looks like an audience of folks applauding, with something ghastly (on the slab) in the foreground, had me thinking "just what kind of nightmare are we congratulating ourselves on?". when you make these "picture-books of horror" are you ever imagining a particular sequence of events? the very last image does suggest that...something has clearly escaped the confines of the laboratory into the light of day, and has suffered for its brief existence, away from its creators/tormentors. Intra/Inter/Ultra dimensional life at this stage sure looks painful and "icky" but it would be intriguing, to see what happens if it becomes the norm of our daily lives...our street view. strange beings shopping at the mall. strange beings taking their kids to school. waiting in line at the DMV. wiping your windscreen with a squeegee mop while your car is stopped at the lights. as a presenter on your nightly news broadcast. thank you again for inspiring me with your weirdly beautiful work!

The last panel was definitely intentional, and crucial to the sequence of events I was trying to convey. There is always a story to tell, and I choose images that best fit the vision. I'd say I'm a "failed" screen writer but i never really took that career path seriously, so all I've got to show for it are a dozen or so scripts that haven't been read by anyone but myself and a few Australian producers over the years. Everyone seemed to like them, but the general consensus was "We don't make that kind of film here". "That" being dark humour, science fiction/horror "culty" stuff. That anyone might take some of my suggestions seriously is certainly good for my ego, lol!

Exellent work once again. The soundtrack was suitably low key for the visuals. I had an idea for a mashup. The Smurfs and Hellraiser. Not sure if the program you use works with cartoon visuals or not. But you have 80's cartoon smurfs or the later CGI movie smurfs to choose from.
