The wording of Crop Rotation suggests that the whole Heart of the Grove section becomes useless (except the 10% chance to not wilt). Are you sure they affect the evolution rate? From what I've seen, they all start at one, and every time you do one color, each plant of the other colors have x% chance to upgrade. Heart of the grove makes it so that we start with more level 3 and 4 plant which plant rotation turns to 0. I'm assuming that every plants has a chance of being 1 2 3 or 4, heart of the grove increasing the odds of 3 and 4 by adding more weight. And Crop Rotation just removes all non tier1 weight.

I am not sure, just speculation. would need to run a high sample size and track how many seeds get upgraded. there are surely some discords that will track it professionally like that one fishing discord :) we still want the heart of the grove, even if minor points are bad, path through the item quantity and rarity then. 10% chance to not wither probably worth a bunch of passive points

You get access to the middle of the tree for extra quantity. The 10% is better than you think it can make a 5 plots into 6 almost all the time generating a tier 4 and a lot of tier 3.

the wording of the keystone says upgrade the tier of different colours... Doesn't it mean that I always have to crop a different colour to get the chance of an upgrade?

if you kill yellow fields, blue and purple both get the chance to be upgraded. always the color you arent fighting currently
