Dude, there are three kinds of music. Good music, bad music, and classics. All three have emerged from every decade in every century. I'm thankful I was able to experience CSN's good stuff. They put out some stinkers too, don't forget. Let's celebrate artists and great works and we don't have to put down the rest.

I Loved hearing them unplugged the harmony is amazing they will never be replaced. I had hoped to see them do one more show - sadly never to happen now. RIP David your talent will be greatly missed. I love each of them. I prefer the three alone. Young alone. He was not fair to the others at important moments and for that, I prefer to listen to him as a solo artist. Stephen Stills would have been the only one I would have wanted to meet and talk with. He stands out as a man who is everyone’s equal. He never appeared to do anything but be a real partner when they played together, didn’t seem to need a lot of outside support, but willing to give it, and always show up - keeping his word. I would have loved to just listen to him daydream.

These lyrics still haunt me. Huh - there are others that think about getting off the merry-go-round?I'm not suicidal every day, but have carried the ideation for over 35 years. Hearing, and then learning to play, this music was both a tonic and a poison. I'm thankful I have love and share my bed - without love I may have drifted out to sea long ago. "Morning comes to sunrise and I'm driven to my bed. I see that it is empty and there's devils in my head I embrace the many colored beast I grow weary of the torment, can there be no peace? And I find myself just wishing that my life would simply cease"
