This product is available on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Crosman-1377-Compatible-Picatinny-Mount/dp/B09SPDVWGX (Ebay permanently banned me for creating my account when I was 16 lol; 6 years later...) If these are ever too loose for your barrel, you can tighten them up by softening the sides of the plastic with a torch and bending it inward slightly. "Transfer Sleeve" = Transfer Port, which appears to be a more common terminology for the coupling between the receiver/barrel assembly and the air piston. More RF related content coming soon. Stay tuned for a detailed build process video on the Bestagon Helical Antenna design for common ISM bands and other frequencies!

Could you send me some information on where I can purchase 2 of the piccatiny rail s for a1377 and a 1322 Crosman pistols.

There's a few on amazon and on ebay, they both look the same

Is there supposed to be an o-ring on that tiny bushing? Transfer sleeve?

The smaller screw inside the breech that needs the 1.3 hex bit, do you know where I could buy a replacement? And on an unrelated note do you know how I could remove a small stripped hex screw?
@RobertResearchRadios Жыл бұрын
Haha since it's "unrelated" I suppose I don't have to express condolences, but that's a tough one. I'm not the best one to ask about stripped screws, but I would try torx bits if it's too stripped for hex or see about cutting a flat head shape into it. Worst case you could sacrifice the plastic cover piece by breaking or melting it off the screw and then turn the screw out with a pair of vice grips/pliers. You might try ebay for replacement parts. Best.

@@RobertResearchRadios I tried every non destructive trick as well as super glue and then the super glue + baking soda powder combo. Not only did that not work, but I nearly cemented the screw to the inside of the breech. I literally just had to buy some grabber drill bits and bore out some of the screw and then extract it. I also bought the only 4x48 screws that my local hardware store had available. They were flat pan head gun screws about 5 times too long, but the head was about twice as thick as the original breech screw. After cutting it down down and getting it to fit the larger head actually worked better than the original screw since it was taller and essentially replicates the washer mod that prevents pellets from jamming. Also, it's a slotted screw, so it won't strip unless I really mess it up somehow

Nice! Can you mount the front barrel picatinny on a longer barrel like a 14.5" by chance?
@RobertResearchRadios2 жыл бұрын
As long as the barrel OD is the same, which I think is 11.5mm, it should work without issue.

I have a small 'O' ring on my transfer port, I noticed that you don't have anything on your transfer port, not even p.t.f.e tape.
@RobertResearchRadios2 жыл бұрын
The o-ring might be hard to see in the video, but all 3 of my Crosman 1377/1322 air pistols have a rubber o-ring on the bottom (air piston facing) side. It sometimes stays lodged in the air piston housing as opposed to coming out with the port.

Would this fit a 1322?

Yes

what was wrong with the original one u had on in the beggining?
@RobertResearchRadios2 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure I printed it wrong and it had cracked, but it's been a long time since I filmed this, so I think I just swapped it to film instructions for both install and removal after practicing it once before hand.

Thanks for the video. How secure a fit is this mount? Do you find that it maintains the zero on your sight?
@RobertResearchRadios3 жыл бұрын
Mine hold zero pretty well. The 1377/1322 don't really have a lot of recoil to knock it around. If you get a mount that is too loose, just pull it off, heat up the sides with a heat gun or torch, and tighten the fit to your liking.

MakerChamber is now the vendor for this product on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/1170917307/crosman-13771322-compatible-red-dot?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=crosman+1377&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1
Amazon's kind of a pain to sell on. Ebay perma-banned my acct because I created the account 6 years ago when I was 16 lol. I'll take a direct inquiry for sale at contact@robertresearchradios.com. Alternatively, there's Etsy, but I only make the longer version for that shop now: www.etsy.com/listing/1029555599/crosman-13771322-compatible-scope-length?click_key=a5e2f64b6ba126764f10d422ab142d6c1adc6a5c%3A1029555599&click_sum=b96f1590&ref=shop_home_feat_3

How long did the rail take to come in from that website that it is sold on?
@RobertResearchRadios2 жыл бұрын
I don't know because I've never mailed one to myself. They take about 1 hour to print the 5 slot and 3 hours to print the 11 slot ones on my Prusa i3mk3s+ printers.
