Crosman 2300 Part 3 - Accuracy

I bought a 2300KT years ago. All that's left of it is the LW barrel and the air tube without the lawyer lingo on it. Everything else replaced.

Hi Al I like the videos you did in this series on the 2300 key I have a 2300 s and I am definitely going to either change the valve do a 2400 valve a regular valve or I'll take the spacer out of the 2300 s valve thank you so much I didn't realize they did that have a great day God bless Merry Christmas

Thanks George, much appreciated. If you take out the spacer, the only remaining difference in the set up between that & a 2240 power plant is the use of a heavier hammer/striker spring in the 2240 & of course caliber.

Looks like these pistols are capable of 1” groups with some shots right over each other. Not bad for a 2-300 dollar pistol.

What to buy crosman 2240 or 2300 T? The price is the same

A 2240 is usually much less expensive than a 2300T. The 2300T is a target pistol in .177 caliber. The 2240 & 2240XL are in .22 caliber. They are more of a general purpose gun and is more powerful. If your shooting targets the 2300T is great but if your going to use it for pests then go with the 2240.

In that case, the 2300T is a better value. I'd go with the 2300T because of upgraded breech and sights.

Huh ?? Where do you shop. It is 100.00 difference. .177 are way better than .22

A 2240 is .22 cal with a 6” barrel whereas the 2300T is .177 cal and has a 10” Target Barrel. It also has the spacer in the valve to increase shot count and reduce shot to shot velocity variance.
