The thing I loved the most about this video is Zander is in blissful enjoyment, not realizing the stress his parents are under with snow and bad roads....he just TRUSTS his daddy. Lesson for us to trust our FATHER. SO GLAD you had a safe trip!

You are such a sweet family. Even in Nolan’s grief he was still tender with you and Zander. Zander always makes me smile because of his innocent, boundless joy! So happy that you made it safely home but just like life the road have it’s hills and valleys, snow and sun, flat and hills, straight and curves. Looking forward to no more tears and no more pain - oh what a day that will be!!!!

This is so reminiscent of a trip we went on two years ago home to say goodbye to two brother in laws in four days time...a total shock. When you landed home and Zander was running around was so true of how we feel inside when we are finally HOME! My heart felt so sad for Nolan and what he has been through these past couple weeks and how landing home he was HOME but he had to let his father go Home to Our Father. As life goes we all grow and leave home and build our own life and our own HOMES...........so sad to turn back to have to say goodbye to his father.......has to be so difficult and such a void for him and all of you and now the worry for his mother. You are absolutely a miracle in action......handling all you did to get back alone in storms and hauling the camper alone and not feeling well all the while. You are a wonder woman to say the least. It is indeed a miracle what love can bring us through and we still wake to go another day of living the life we have chosen. You are so amazing and I know and can tell how Nolan appreciated your sacrifices and goodness in making that journey alone..........what a gift you are to your family and to your extended family. God will see us through everything if we just have the faith and trust in Him........He alone is the only power that can. I thank Him daily for the strengths He has given "all of us" His children! Very touching vlog and very emotional for me as well as those are the same highways we traveled in winter storms two years ago............... God bless you all

Aw, Jeannine, he was amazing! And Nolan was such a star hauling that camper in those ghastly conditions. Really enjoyed that road trip, I've not done one that far - do you remember how many miles? And I always reckon you don't say the worst is over until Valentine's is behind you - one of the worst snow storms we ever had in Chicago was one Valentine's when it took 5-hrs to get home (usually took 25mins!!) - and down here we can be in peak fire season, mid February - glad all was well.

hello there my sweet friend!! Was so excited to see this video come up!! I am so Thankful you all made it home safe and sound! I was praying for all of the people that were in those accidents that they are ok, so terrible to see that .My parents had asked my husband and I to go to Florida with them years ago around Christmas time, we went down in my parents conversion van, tight corners for sure, when we got down to the border of Florida it was snowing, Yes snowing and my mom took a picture of me and my hubby by the sign that said 'Welcome to Florida The Sunshine state!" it was funny, but we had stopped at a camping ground because they don't know what to do as far as the roads go , so we stayed in the van, my parents in their converted bed and my hubby and I on the floor with sleeping bags, not the best sleeping at all, well when we got up in the morning there was 6 inches on the ground and the people that ran the camp ground said :Isn't this Great?" and my father said "NO WE ARE TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THIS STUFF!" So when we left the guy said don't you want to stay another night until they get the roads cleared more, and my Dad said Nope we come from where it snows alot more the this, It was awful there were people actually throwing sand on the road ways ,because they don't have enough equipment to handle the snow, there were campers along the highway in flames and no tracks going in or out of the campers and we saw three like that and many accidents, we prayed for us and for those that may have parished in those fires. So sad, That was over 25 years ago and I can still see those scenes in my head. But I am so Happy you guys made it and I was singing with you guys!LOL! I don't think the neighbor's dogs liked my so called singing as I was singing pretty loud and our windows are open ,but it is so windy today as you probably know, Give Xander hugs and kisses for me, I so Love your music in your videos as well. I continue to pray for you all everyday. Hugs from Ephrata!!
