FIS should launch European Cup, North American Cup and Asian cup for second tier competitions behind World Cup for national teams in Europe, North America and Asia.

There are already established COC's or Continental cups that can be used for qualification towards the world cup. Not sure about the prevalence in Asia, but the US has the SuperTour (which is incredibly successful, as it often combines with junior/college races), Canada has the Nordiq Cup, which is similar to the SuperTour, and while I don't particularly know much about the mainland Europe COC, I know for a fact that it exists and is run very well. While it would be an interesting idea, the only real use of a new COC supported by FIS might be in Asia. Even so, because of how international and how few all competitions are, it simply doesn't make sense for FIS (Who also oversee 20+ different sports) to make such a massive effort for such a tiny community. PS: please correct me on anything, I'm not so knowledgeable about the Asian ski scene except for the Chinese government's failed attempt at making it popular. TLDR: They already exist and are expensive to create by FIS.

FIS would reorganize races which would consist World Cup, FIS Cup, Continental Cup and National Cup. FIS Cup would available for cross country discipline which would bridge between World Cup and Continental Cup which would intended for athletes which don't qualify for World Cup. FIS Cup would held from late November (mid November for some countries in Europe) to mid or late March. FIS Cup for cross country would held weekly from Friday to Sunday which consisting distance and sprint races. FIS Cup is held mostly in Europe and occasionally in North America and Asia, usually Asia partly because many Asians love skiing. FIS Cup would also broadcast on TV and online like World Cup. Live streaming would be available around the world for FIS Cup which is easy to access. Cross country skiing would have FIS Cup races for bridging between World Cup and Continental Cup. World Cup is intended for A-grade athletes, FIS Cup is intended for B-grade athletes and Continental Cup is intended for C-grade athletes. National teams would consist A-grade for World Cup, B-grade for FIS Cup and C-grade for Continental Cup.

I believe the WC and Olympic competitions should qualify for world cup points. It doesn't make sense to exclude those competitions from the overall world cup.

It actually makes all the sense, they're SPECIAL EVENTS, they're nothing like World Cup rounds!

I'd like to see TDS happen every 4th year when it doesn't compete with the world championships or Olympic. Also, have some 50K races that start, go out thru villages and end up somewhere else.

I agree, TDS is totally overrated and too point heavy.
