I don’t think that they established that Peter killed Maria. When Miss Nancy says those were Maria’s last words, she says, at least that’s what I was told, as opposed to that’s what Peter told me. An air of mystery about that phrase. I think she hired someone.

This is what I said, and someone asked me if I even watched the show😅 It made me think maybe Peter did not kill maria also the fact they would have been working with Ed since what look like to me a female figure left maria scarf but the movement look like someone obsessed with cross not the woman that was on drugs. Also, elle to me acted weird when Nana Mama called her to take the children to the recital. I could be wrong and not paid attention, but I'm happy someone else picked up on what Miss Nancy said.

Funny you mention that. Remember the scene where Alex and John saves the woman that's being tortured? There's a scene where Alex and that female detective "mistakenly" pointed their weapons at each other in an attempt to capture Ramsey. At the time it made me raise an eyebrow but after reading some of these comments I believe it was intentional from the writers. A subtle yet huge foreshadowing of what's to come.

@ Absolutely, going further the victim herself was deeply into the art of Ramsey. Not far fetched, she could become Ramsey’s apprentice in later seasons. A Saw-type of storyline. Ramsey wants to be remember, but how if he is behind bars…. He will need apprentice or copycats.

Spoiler alert!!!!! I have a question. How did Alex Cross know to go to the hospital to save Shannon Whitmer from Ed Ramsey if the latter was presumed dead?

When Alex Cross gets the lead about Peter Lenox and investigates his apartment, he actually correlates this case with Ramsey's and realizes that Ramsey is not one to give up on his plan and kill himself. Cross believes that the serial killer must have played some trick to avoid arrest and so he goes to the hospital, seemingly to check on Ramsey's corpse and also to keep Shannon safe.

The show is good but what a plot hole in the last episode. His wife had only died a year ago but at the beginning of the episode. In a flashback his mom was 10-15 years younger and his son looked about 5 but was like 9-10 in the show. And the scene was his mom talking to his son about his moms death made no sense.

That was a flashback to Young Alex Cross after his mom died. Not Damon

She did favours for Ramsey because he could hire the best doctors to help get her pregnant. By the time she realized, she "crossed" her own lines... It was too late. If she didn't do it, he would have taken her down with him.
